It's that time of year again, when all collector's fancy turns to Toy Fair in NYC. As usual, I'm not hauling my lazy butt to freeze in New York, but I am collecting links of most of the pages that have coverage here for those who are even more lazy than I. This year is a pretty mixed bag; Toy Biz is going to have strong showings, while Mattel tries to salvage the dropped ball of "Masters of the Universe" with a new "Batman" line. We'll see how it all shakes out. And don't forget to read my commentary on the showings at my new BLOG.
Enjoy!
Raving Toy Maniac- Bobbi and Rob are in the Big Apple and will be updating throughout the week, with more extensive coverage online when they get back. Best pictures, best coverage. 'nuff said.
Action Figure Times- Randy (of Ask Randy fame), ToyGodd, and Julius Marx will traverse the frozen wastelands to bring us news when they're not at the Times Square TRU. Get the inside dope right here.Action-Figure.com- Adrian will also be crossing the pond to hit the showrooms.Nomad will be fighting the good fight, too. They also has advance stuff from the U.K. Toyfair. Keep a stiff upper and Bob's your uncle! But beware those slow load times.
Rebelscum- Gonna have the best Star Wars coverage, bar none. Rebelscum always comes through with nice showroom pics.
Yo Joe! - All the new G.I. Joe coverage.
411 Mania - Never heard of these guys before, but they're there too.
Sideshow Toys- They have all their new offerings up already!
McFarlane Toys- They can be counted on to have some of the best coverage of their own stuff around.
Ring of Collectors - Very nice coverage, with lots of good pics. And stop by "Plastic Therapy" to discuss the whole thing and rip on the other sites with the other bitter, bitter nerds.;) Just kidding.
Figures.com- If you can brave the multiple layers of navigation, they may have a bit of news buried somewhere. Somewhere...
American Toy Nationals- Yeah, this jackass is showing up too. Blurry pictures and press releases! Woo hoo!
