Metallo

Background

John Corbin was among the underworld's top mercenaries. His downfall came when he was hired by Lex Luthor to steal and go on a rampage with the Lax-Corp 9000 Lexosuit. Superman defeated him and sent him to jail, where Luthor secretly had him poisoned so that he would give up his body and become an android. Corbin revelled in his newfound strength until he realized he could no longer feel or taste. Since then, he has wreaked havoc on humanity and Luthor in particular under the name of Metallo.

Figure Stats

Metallo comes with a groovy flying bike thing that seems to be able to shoot "kryptonite" arrows. It also appears as if his chest opens to reveal his Kryptonite heart. Although it is nice to finally have a Metallo figure, his faithfulness to the model leaves something to be desired. Even his shirt cuff remains unpainted.

Episodes Appeared In

Metallo appears in "The Last Son Of Krypton Part 2"; "The Last Son Of Krypton Part 3"; "The Way Of All Flesh"; "Action Figures"; "Heavy Metal ".
