OBSIDIAN


 


Another very cool figure, Obsidian might not have been the most "kid friendly" figure, being all shades of black. However, he would have made a very striking appearance standing next to the multi-colored throng of the Super Powers collection.It makes you wonder what other Infinity, Inc. characters they might have been considering.

The two versions shown here are possibly attempts to make him more friendly looking by showing his features in flesh color, not jet black. Since these are not shown on the same page, I'm of the mind that they are two different treatments that were proposed, not an action feature. Go read more about this hero turned villain here.
