Here's the first concept art for the Delta Probe One
along with an early prototype. This looks to be a hand
tooled engineering copy, just a few steps away from production.
Among many interesting things shown in the early concept
art above is the strangely mis-colored Lex Luthor figure.
You can see also that the vehicle was originally going
to be much more complex, and was more "Star Wars"
in nature than the final product. Which makes sense when
you consider that the designers would have just come off
of making Star Wars vehicles before starting this pitch.
