THE CREEPER

One of my favorite characters, the Creeper was one of Steve Ditko's odd 60's DC heroes, along with Hawk & Dove, Prince Gavyn Starman, and Shade, the Changing Man. The Creeper was by far his most successful DC creation, hopping around from title to title over the years. While this would have been his first figure, he eventually did make it to plastic in the 1998 The New Batman Adventures line. Go here to find out more about Jack Ryder's manic alter-ego.

This figure apparently would have had a very unique action feature: suction cups that he could hold in his hands and that could clip onto his legs. This is odd in that it would be the first figure that the feature actually interfered with the character's usual appearance.

The custom below was made by Matt "Iron-Cow" Cauley.
