Sample card front, in this case shazam! (Captian Marvel) from Wave Three. The first two waves came with a mini-comic book detailing a small adventure of the packaged figure.
While Steppenwolf is usually the only figure recognized as having been made on two different cards, wave two and three, there apparently were a few random other wave two figures to get wave three cards and no comic.


Each series had a different cardback showing all of the figures available up to that point and some ships. Also, many of the cards detailed special limited mail-in offers. Click on any cardback to see a larger example.
