BATMAN
The Dark Knight Detective
ORIGIN
Returning from the movies one night with their young son Bruce,
Thomas and Martha Wayne were brutally slain in a random burglary.
From that day Bruce Wayne vowed to avenge his parents and protect
others from befalling their fate. Using his inheritance to become
skilled in hand-to-hand combat and amass the latest crimefighting
equipment, Bruce became the batman. Assisted by his butler,
Alfred Pennyworth, and his ward, Robin, batman fights crime
at it's level, becoming a dark spectre of the night that strikes
fear into the hearts of evil-doers.
FIGURE STATS
batman comes with no accessories except a cloth cape. His cape
is nicely cut out in bat-patterns at the bottom. By squeezing
together his legs batman punches the heck out of criminals and
malcontents.
COMMENTS
A perennial favorite of toy makers and toy buyers, batman is
nicely shown off here. Having more vehicles than any other hero,
he was given both a batmobile and a batcopter for this line.
His mold was slightly retooled for the Dark Knight Collection.
