These prototypes were shown at SDCC 2000 (picture taken by SanDiegoToyFan), but since then news has surfaced that they may not be produced after all. Alan Moore is having issues with DC Comics, and while the 15th Anniversary Edition of the Watchmen book is definitely cancelled, the figures seem to be also. I cry, lemme tell ya. Having made custom Watchmen figures back in the 80s, these were the ones I looked forward to the most. But who knows? Maybe someday...
