Small time crook Eel O'Brien was wounded when trying to rob a chemical plant with his gang. Ditched by his buddies and doused
in chemicals, the injured O'Brien made his way to a monastery in the mountains outside the city. The kindly monks nursed him
back to health and Eel realized what a heel he had been. Upon his recovery Eel found that the chemical bath he took turned his skin
to rubber, and he used these powers and his newfound conscience to arrest his gang and start working for the law. This figure also came in a variant with a hammer and tongs as hands. It would have been nice if he had come with plain normal hands as well. His glasses are removable (which makes little sense seeing as how Plastic Man never removes them). I'm really on the fence with this figure. On the one hand, its commendable that DC choose to make a Plastic Man figure right off the bat, and you can tell the though behind is was genuinely wanting to make a great Plas. But on the other hand, the sculpt isn't quite there (He's a little short and not slim enough) and the bendy arms are problematic. Any chance we'll be seeing a "Golden Age" version that's a little more on the money? Possibly a 2-pack with Eel O' Brien himself? (Unlike most secret identities, Eel's face was very different from his Plastic Man disguise).
