For years, Hal Jordan fought the good fight until one dark day, his
city was destroyed and his life would forever change and push him over
the edge. Jordan destroyed the remaining Green Lantern Corps and used
their rings to destroy the Guardians of the Universe in order to set
things right. With this immense power at his fingertips, he became Parallax.
Parallax was defeated by the heroes of Earth and mysteriously vanished.
However, Parallax redeemed himself in Earth's darkest hour by sacrificing
himself to save the world. When the fallen angel Asmodel stole the power
of the Spectre, Hal Jordan was rescued from purgatory to help stop this
new threat. Earth's Day of Judgement was stopped and the soul of Hal
Jordan was bonded with the Spectre force to become the new Spectre.
But as the new Spectre, his true identity is now masked by a higher
power. Unrecognized by those whose forgiveness he seeks, Hal has begun
a long and lonely road tpward redemption. Ever the emboidment of tragedy
and triumph, the Spectre is reborn.
This figure is OK as far as it goes. It is a repaint of the earlier Hal Jordan, Green Lantern figure. The black areas of the previous figure are now glow in the dark, and his left arm has been resculpted. He also has a cloth cape with a wire inside. |
Here's an explanation of how this happened to poor Hal.
