The New Adventures
ORIGIN
Walking home one night from seeing "The Mark of Zorro" at the movies, Thomas and Martha Wayne were shot down during the course of a senseless robbery, leaving young Bruce scarred by the experience and angry at the world of crime. Vowing to avenge his parents' deaths, Bruce became Batman. Assisted by his loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth, Batman utilizes the most advanced crime-solving techniques and equipment in his never-ending war on crime.

FIGURE STATS
Detective Batman comes with a Missle Flight Pack and Infrared Lens Decoder. He also has a great removable soft vinyl cape. One of the most accurate representations made in figure form, this Batman is even more simplified that the old one. He is slightly taller than the old line, but this makes him fit in perfectly with the new Superman: The Animated Series figures.
EPISODES APPEARED IN
As the star of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman has appeared in all 85 episodes, although he had a brief appearence only in "Showdown" with Ra's Al Ghul and Jonah Hex. Now he's in all 24 of the new episodes.
Batman is Voiced by Kevin Conroy
