Variations

These are generally known as repaints or variations, but all are the standard Batman/Robin figures with some added deco and painted different colors and packed with rotating accessories. While very unpopular with collectors, these repaints allow Kenner to make inexpensive product that helps keep costs down.
And besides, they MUST be somewhat popular with kids, as they always eventually sell-out, unlike the Ultraforce or Wildcats lines.

Series One and Two

batvar1.jpg - 16.23 KThe first two series were relatively free of repaints, with only these three to be released for the first year of production.

They are:
TurboJet Batman
Infrared Batman
Sky Dive Batman

Series Three

batvar2.jpg - 24.51 K The third series started to open the floodgates on repaints.
While still balancing out the assortments with villains, with the introduction of Deluxe Batmen, the repaints started to crowd out the pegs.
They are:
Power Vision Batman (Deluxe Figure)
Ground Assault Batman (Deluxe Figure)
Lightning Strike Batman
Knight Star Batman
Anti-Freeze Batman

Mask of the Phantasm

batvar3.jpg - 19.39 K This movie subline was almost strictly repaints.
It included:
Total Armor Batman
Rapid Attack Batman

Series Four

Radar Scope Batman
Mech Wing Batman (Deluxe)
