WHO THE HECK IS ACTION GIRL? Action Girl (picture above; from the cover of issue #17) is the title character of my small-press comic book, Action Girl Comics, an anthology which features female comics creators and regularly contains Action Girl stories and pages. Action Girl is also my alter-ego, and the name under which I've published zines and comics for several years. WHO THE HECK AM I? My name is Sarah Dyer, and besides doing Action Girl Comics (and a few jobs that actually pay the bills) I like to collect comics, toys and other items featuring female characters -- mostly superheroines and villainesses. I also like to enjoy my collection -- my comics are on a shelf when I'm not reading them (no bags, no boards); I drink out of my Wonder Woman glasses; and every female figure I have is opened and amassed on shelves. (I call them the "girl army".)
WHAT'S MY FAVORITE FIGURE? Glad you asked! ^_^ It's hard to pick, and of course there's always a "new" favorite. But I'd have to say my all-time favorite figure is still the Mera Superqueen. She is such a cool character, I can't believe she was only made twice -- as a Superqueen and as a teeny plastic figure in the Ideal Justice League line in the 60s.
